Rename, delete, and restore package repositories
Rename a repository
Section titled “Rename a repository”Renaming immediately changes every enabled PyPI, npm, and Maven URL. Before the rename:
- Find developer, CI, container, and deployment configuration using the current URLs.
- Rename the repository and update every developer environment and automation job.
- Test publishing and installation through the new URLs.
The previous repository URL does not remain as a compatibility alias.
Delete a repository
Section titled “Delete a repository”Deleting a repository immediately revokes every enabled ecosystem. Eligible repositories and their ecosystem configuration remain recoverable for seven days.
If deletion reports a connected upstream, remove that connection first.
Restore a repository
Section titled “Restore a repository”Contact support within seven days. Restoration includes ecosystems deleted with the repository, but not ecosystems removed earlier. Private mirrors are managed separately.
