Developer API
Use rvs whenever you can. It handles sign-in, repository targets, and package-manager credentials for you. The developer API is for the rare tool that cannot run rvs.
The API is unstable: /v0 can change without notice.

Account resources live under /v0/platform. Artifacts resources, such as repositories, packages, and private mirrors, live under /v0/artifacts.
Authenticate
Section titled “Authenticate”Send an automation token as a bearer token. It reaches only the resources and permissions it was granted.

Section titled “Package managers”Never configure an automation token in a package manager. Exchange it for a short-lived registry token with POST /v0/artifacts/repositories/{repository_ref}/mint-token, or POST /v0/artifacts/remote-caches/{remote_cache_ref}/mint-token for a private mirror.
