Add or remove ecosystems

  1. Open the package repository.
  2. Under Settings → Enabled ecosystems, choose PyPI, npm, or Maven.
  3. Optionally attach its official upstream.
  4. Confirm.

The new ecosystem gets its own URLs, packages, and upstream settings without changing existing ecosystems. A newly attached upstream receives explicit age bounds copied from that remote cache’s current defaults.

You can remove an ecosystem only when all of the following are true:

  • The repository has at least one other enabled ecosystem.
  • The selected ecosystem contains no private packages or package files.
  • No pending package cleanup blocks removal.

Ravenstash rejects an unsafe removal instead of guessing how to dispose of package data. Remove packages and resolve the reported blockers before retrying.

Re-enabling an ecosystem restores its previous configuration. Review its upstream settings before use.
