Add or remove registry types

Add a registry type

1. Open the repository.
2. Under Settings → Enabled registry types, choose PyPI, npm, Maven, or OCI.
3. For PyPI, npm, or Maven, optionally attach a private mirror. OCI does not use public-registry mirrors.
4. Confirm.

The new registry gets its own generated URL, familiar package format, and usage view without changing existing registries. A newly connected mirror starts with its current minimum package-age setting.

Remove a registry type

You can remove an ecosystem only when all of the following are true:

• The repository has at least one other enabled package format.
• The selected registry contains no private packages, files, images, charts, manifests, or layers.
• No pending content cleanup blocks removal.

Ravenstash rejects an unsafe removal. Remove the packages or OCI content and resolve the reported blockers before retrying.

Re-enable a registry type

Re-enabling a registry restores its previous configuration. Review private-mirror settings for PyPI, npm, and Maven before use.

Caution

Removing a registry type stops its package URL immediately. Update developer, CI, and deployment references before removing a registry already used by your team.
