Add or remove ecosystems
Add an ecosystem
Section titled “Add an ecosystem”- Open the package repository.
- Under Settings → Enabled ecosystems, choose PyPI, npm, or Maven.
- Optionally attach its official upstream.
- Confirm.
The new ecosystem gets its own URLs, packages, and upstream settings without changing existing ecosystems. A newly attached upstream receives explicit age bounds copied from that remote cache’s current defaults.
Remove an ecosystem
Section titled “Remove an ecosystem”You can remove an ecosystem only when all of the following are true:
- The repository has at least one other enabled ecosystem.
- The selected ecosystem contains no private packages or package files.
- No pending package cleanup blocks removal.
Ravenstash rejects an unsafe removal instead of guessing how to dispose of package data. Remove packages and resolve the reported blockers before retrying.
Re-enable an ecosystem
Section titled “Re-enable an ecosystem”Re-enabling an ecosystem restores its previous configuration. Review its upstream settings before use.
